Bruce Changed the Face of Popular Music Forever**
Click to DonateThis documentary tells an inspiring story of the enormously talented musician, Bruce Langhorne, who overcomes physical, emotional, and societal obstacles to find his true self and make a lasting impact on the world. Bruce became the go-to guitar accompanist in segregated New York in the early ‘60s, playing a crucial role in the top folk artists’ transition into folk-rock. Despite his monumental impact on the music world, Bruce Langhorne remains largely unknown—a true “Invisible Legend” whose story is waiting to be told.
At its core, it is a film about Love and Hate. As we address the persistent undercurrents of racism and bigotry that still plague America today, we aim to counter these violent forces with love, kindness, and hope. By revisiting the music, idealism, and sense of shared purpose of the 1960's, we strive to evoke nostalgia many might be seeking.

“I have fingers missing on my right hand, which is a mixed blessing because it meant I had to find things to play that didn’t rely on flash. That really helped me; it taught me the lesson that you’re only partially your body. There’s something inside, call it spirit, that transcends your vessel. When you open to the path of love, whatever walks down that path for you, that’s spirit.”
